Town of Taos Thanks U.S. Senator Ben Ray Lujan for Visiting Wastewater Treatment Facility

Taos, N.M (April 5, 2024) -- Mayor Pascual Maestas, Town Manager Andrew Gonzales and the Town of Taos would like to thank U.S. Senator Ben Ray Luján and his staff for touring the Taos Valley Regional Wastewater Treatment and Reclamation Facility this morning. It provided us the opportunity to show the Senator how the Town provides safe treatment of wastewater and returns above-standard effluent water to downstream communities.

The Taos Wastewater Treatment Facility serves as a region-wide facility for septage waste for the town of Taos and the outlying areas such as Taos Pueblo, Cañon, El Prado, El Valle de Los Ranchos, and septic haulers in the region. The facility serves in excess of 5900 customers.
